Sister Spotlight: Jill Telford

If you are married, how did you meet your husband? I met my husband while I was on a camping trip with my family and some friends. Our friends’ son invited Gary to come and we met. I was 14 and he was 15. My mother always told me that I couldn’t marry until I was 20. So, when I was 19 and Gary had returned from his mission we were engaged in the mountains. As you can tell, the mountains have had a huge impact on our relationship.

My favorite hobby is – I love to do several things : I love to garden, I love to run and exercise, and I love to sew quilts and do fun sewing projects. I also love being a grandma!

My favorite restaurant is – Little America and Market Street Grill.

The music I listen to the most is – I like all kinds of music. When Gary is around I listen to soft FM music but when I exercise I listen to rock.

My favorite thing to buy is – Fabric and Treats.

The city I would most like to visit is – Washington D.C.

The best vacation I ever had was – When we were able to travel to Holland and Denmark while were in England.

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be? I want to learn to play the violin and become a great violinist.

What chore do you absolutely hate doing? I DO NOT like ironing.

What do you think is your very best feature or characteristic? I love people and I love to give of myself.

What is the “thing” that you are most grateful for? I am grateful to have the privilege of being a mother, wife, grandmother, and being able to live in a free country where I can choose to worship as I choose.
