Sister Spotlight: Andrea Bang

My favorite dinner/ dessert is: Cheese Fondue and chocolate fondue.

My favorite flower is: A Tulip

My favorite hobby is: Family history which includes making scrapbooks and home videos of my family.

My favorite restaurant is: Cafe Rio or Panda Garden (depends on my mood)

A game I like to play is: Volleyball I am not really that good but I love to play with friends and family.

The music I listen to most is: Just about anything from the 80's. Even my kids like it!

My favorite thing to buy is: Craft supplies especially if they are on sale.

A book I highly recommend is: I am not sure, I haven't had time to read for a while.

A movie I watch over and over is: Christmas movies. There are several I watch every year. Sometimes 2 or 3 times.

A smell that makes me pause is: Besides my husbands cologne, Citrus blossoms

The city I would most like to visit is: Any city in Hawaii. I love the beach and have never been there.

The best vacation I ever had was: My Husband and I went on a 7 day cruise with his parents. We dove, snorkeled, canoed, and basked in the sun. I loved every minute of it. So amazing!

If you could be any fictional character, who would you choose? Superman Then I could clean and do yard work at super speed then I could spend more time with my family. Flying would be fun also!

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be? I would love to learn how to play Piano and also learn a new language.

What chore do you absolutely hate doing? Cleaning toilets. Lets face it they are gross!

What do you think is your very best feature or characteristic? I have pretty great hair. I can do almost anything I want with it.

What is the "thing" you are most grateful for? I am most grateful for my family. I have been blessed with the greatest, hard working husband and 6 amazing children Anything I do with them makes me the most happy and I am thankful everyday for such a blessing.

What is your dream vacation? I would love to find a deserted island somewhere with a beautiful beach and beach house (Swiss Family Robinson like) and just get lost there for a couple of weeks with my husband. (sigh)

What's the coolest thing you've ever done? Learning to dive! It was truly amazing to see a whole different world our Father in Heaven created.

How did you meet your husband? How did he propose? We met playing Volleyball at a stake singles activity. I had a sprained ankle and fooled him into thinking I was a great player. We dated for two short months before he proposed on a moonlight stroll through the desert. We have been married for almost 16 years. I have loved every minute of it.

What would be your perfect day? Waking up to a perfectly clean house, my kids not arguing or fighting all day, having a little time to lounge around in the sun, and doing something super fun with the family.

My favorite thing to buy is: food (I don't really like to shop)

A book I highly recommend is: Out of Jerusalem series by H.B. Moore (she is my niece)

A smell that makes me pause is: Lilac trees

The best vacation I ever had was: visiting church historic sites across America

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be? to speak Spanish

What chore do you absolutely hate doing? I do not like to dust.

What do you think is your very best feature or characteristic? I am patient

What is the "thing" you are most grateful for? Family, Friends, the Gospel

What is your dream vacation? cruise to Hawaii

What's the coolest thing you've ever done? I was a support runner in the torch run for the 2002 Winter Olympics.

If you are married, how did you meet your husband? How did he propose? We lived in the same ward since we were 12 years old. We went to the jewelry store and chose our rings. We have been married for 46 years.
