Born and Raised-She grew up in Bountiful, Utah and actually lived there up until 8 years ago. She did leave for 2 years when she served a mission to Portland, Oregon.
Schooling and Career-Misty was on the “10 year plan” for school. She started out at the University of Utah just having fun and not really knowing what she wanted to do. She had worked at Primary Children’s Hospital as a clerk and liked the atmosphere and the thought of helping people, so she decided to move to Salt Lake Community College to be a nurse and get her LPN. Now, she’s lucky enough to be a stay at home Mom and “nurse” her family!
How they met-Luke and Misty have a super funny story of how they met. Misty’s ex-boyfriend actually introduced her to Luke when she went to watch him play volleyball. She thought Luke was super hot and knew he was her future husband! Luke was a womanizer who was dating a ton of girls, but his friends told him he better get rid of them and stick with Misty. He agreed, and now they’ve been married for almost 15 years!!!

She recently started racing, and now she’s done a triathlon, a Ragnar, and an Ironman!
Something Unique About Her-She can pick her nose with her tongue! If that isn’t unique enough, she has also scuba dived with dolphins and sharks.
