 Kristen Morgan

Born and raised: Kristen was born in Spokane and then raised in Seattle

Travel: Kristen has traveled to Mexico, Italy and Japan

Employment and skills: Kristen has a Journalism degree from BYU Idaho.  She is currently working on getting her Masters in teaching.  She also teaches a babysitting class for the Red Cross.

Family: Kristen and her husband have been married 9 years.  She has two cute little kids, a boy named Elijah and a little girl named Halle.

Hobbies: Kristen enjoys camping, hiking, running, reading.

Dream Vacation: Greece

Something Unique about Kristen: Kristen was voted “Worst Driver” in her graduating class.

Katie Madsen

Born and Raised- She was born in Pocatello, Idaho, but she moved to St. George in third grade, so she calls this home. She and Josh lived in Orem for a short time then moved back here.

How they met- Katie and Josh met in the Manti Temple at a wedding ceremony. Her cousin introduced them and talked them both into going out for dinner that night. Four months later, they were married. 

Family- Katie and Josh have 3 almost 4 kids. Kayden 7, Kris 5, Jordi 16 months, and she is expecting another baby in October!

Schooling and Career- Katie went to school in Provo to be an aesthetician. She still does a little work in her home, but her main gig now is selling Lia Sophia jewelry which allows her to stay home with her family. 

Hobbies and favorites- Katie likes to workout and run (if she can find the time!) Some of her favorites are hanging out with her family, chocolate, being outside, trees, and laughing.

Travel- She served a mission in Santa Cruz, Bolivia which she really misses! She has also traveled a lot through Lia Sophia on business. She’s been to Georgia, Virginia, Indiana, Arizona, Texas, California, Washington, D.C., and even earned a cruise to Bahamas and a trip to Puerto Rico and Cancun. She is trying to earn her way to Hawaii right now! Of course, she takes Josh along any time it’s possible! :)

Congratulations to Kim and Mclane Lawrence on the birth of their baby girl, London Sky Lawrence. She was born today April 23rd and was 7 lbs. 4 oz. and 20 1/2" long. Everyone is doing well!

This Weeks Spotlights

Gini Erickson: 
Born and Raised- She was born in Seattle, Washington. She has 1 sister and 5 brothers. Before coming to Saint George, she lived in Rigby, Idaho. She says they are still getting snow storms there, and she’s liking the warmer weather here although summers are super hot!

Jobs and Hobbies- Gini is lucky enough to be able to stay home with her kids! She enjoys reading, hiking, and anything else outdoors. She is training for the Ogden Marathon right now, so you’ve probably seen her out on the road training.

Travel- Gini has been to Mexico, the Oregon Coast, and Washington, D.C.

Family- Gini is married to Jason Erickson and has 5 children; Bennett, Evan, Will, Isabella, and Lilia.

How they met- Gini was going to school at Montana State when she met Jason. He was roping in a rodeo there. She liked his cowboy hat! :)

Favorite Calling- Her favorite calling was in the Young Women’s.

Kimberly Lawrence:

Born and raised: Born in Salt Lake and raised in Las Vegas

Travel: Kim has traveled to Mexico, Canada, Dominican Republic, Australia, Italy, Greece and Turkey

Employment and skills: Kim graduated from U of U with a degree in Sociology and used to work as a family advocate for Head Start.

Family: Kim and her husband, Mclane, have been married for 4 years this May.They have one little boy and are expecting a baby girl next week!!

Hobbies: Kim loves anything outside. She enjoys snowboarding, scuba diving, hiking, working out, reading and shopping. Anything outside or adventurous.

Favorite Church Calling: Her favorite church is her current calling, doing the birthdays for the Relief Society.

Dream Vacation: Thailand

Something Unique about Kimberly: Kim went skydiving for her 21st birthday and really enjoyed it.

Congratulations to Cody and Kari Ingram on the birth of their baby girl Paislee. She was born last Monday April 8th weighing 7 lbs. 12 oz. and 20” long. Everyone is doing well.

This Weeks Spotlights

Robyn Dixon:
Born and Raised- She was born in Anaheim, California but moved around a lot when she was little because her dad created and maintained computer programs for various banks around the country. She lived in California, Oregon, Washington, Utah, and Ohio!
Education and Employment- Robyn works as a history teacher at Desert Hills High School, so some of your lucky kids may be one of her students.
Travel- Robyn has not only moved around a lot, she’s also traveled a bunch too! She has been all over the U.S. then abroad to Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Italy.
Family- Robyn is married to Devon Dixon who you may have heard announcing on the radio. They have four children.
Free time- Robyn loves hanging out with her kids (sometimes without is nice too!), traveling, and scrapbooking. She also has an adorably decorated home!


Becky Roper:
Born and raised: Born in Murray and raised in Pleasant Grove
Travel: Becky has traveled to Germany, Switzerland, Bahamas and Scotland. She loves to travel!
Employment and skills: Becky helps her husband run their three businesses. They have done landscaping, have a cargo fleet and live the farm life which Becky loves.
Family: Scott and Becky have been married for 25 years this May. They have 6 kids, one boy and 5 girls.
Hobbies: Becky loves animals, boating, being on the lake and traveling.
Favorite Church Calling: Her favorite church calling was Young Women. She loves working with the youth.
Dream Vacation: Ireland and cruises
Something Unique about Becky: Becky grew up pumping gas and changing tires. Her dad owned a gas station so she has a lot of mechanical skills. Her dad would send her out on Triple A calls and the people would always be surprised to see her.
